The shoot of the film CIA: Comrade in America started a year ago and it has been shot around Kottayam in Kerala and in the United States. Famous Cinematographer C.K. Muraleedharan’s daughter, Karthika will be making her debut in this film. CIA: Comrade in America revolves around a Pala-based youngster, Aji Mathew, portrayed by Dulquer Salmaan, who travels to U.S in pursuit of his love. The movie which has been scripted by Shibin Francis of 2016 film Paavada fame, also features Soubin Shahir, Jinu Joseph and John Vijay in supporting roles.
Comrade In America tells the story of a young man from Pala Aji Mathew, who is a strong follower of communist ideologies.He is falling in love with Sarah ,A American NRI's daughter studying in a college .She was staying in her uncle's home .One day she migrated to America.Aji Mathew starts searching her by flying to America.Main Posstive of the film is Dulqar salman and Bgm of Gopi sundhar.
The film had a good first half and average 2nd half .It could have been made better.Sidhek also plays an important role by doing his father role.Soubin ,Dileesh pothan are also done justice to their roles .Heroines are just for name . CIA is not a political movie.its a half baked romantic movie .Amal Neradh is well known for his action movies but this time he changed the track.
